Biography:

Dr. Elias Papadopoulos is presently working as Associate professor in Aristotle University ofThessaloniki, Greece. He has done his master in University of Liverpool, U.K. I participatedin 36 Research projects funded by EU or others (national or international funds), in 12 ofthem as Scientific Coordinator. He worked as a  Editorial board member of many scientificjournals and also  Reviewer of manty other scientific journals. He is member of Scientific Societies like World Association for the Advancement of Veterinary Parasitology,  Greek Entomological Society, Greek Echinococcus-Hydatidosis Society, Greek  Veterinary Companion Animals Society, Greek Veterinary Society, Greek Apiculture  Society,  Greek Parasitological Society, Armenian Academy of Veterinary Sciences andGreek Society for theProtection of Lab Animals. He was involved in the evaluation of antiparasitic drugs for theirregistration by the Greek Drug Organisation, election or promotion of candidates for newacademic or research positions, evaluation of national research project proposals of Greece,Italy, Romania and Slovakia. He was member of Scientific or Organising Committees of conferences and a TEMPUS project with Serbia. He was a  member of the committee responsible for the Evaluation and Re-Evaluation of the School of Veterinary Medicine by the EAVE. He participated in 149 conferences in Greece(75) or abroad(74), in 35 of them asinvited speaker. He participated in 152 scientific publications, alone or with co-authors fromGreece or abroad. Additionally, he participated in 93 abstracts of conferences, which have notbeen published yet as full papers. The Impact factor (IF) of his publications is 176.327. Also,his publications were cited in 1042 publications by other researchers.
