Mukhles Al-Ababneh is an Assistant Professor of Management Studies\International Hospitality Management in the Department of Hotel and Tourism Management at Al-Hussein Bin Talal University, Jordan where he has been a faculty member since 2007.

Mukhles completed his Bachelor Degree (BA) in Business Administration from Mu’tah University, Jordan in 2001, with Honor degree. In 2003, he graduated from Bologna University, Italy with a Master Degree (MA) in Strategic Management for Sustainable Development (MA). Mukhles completed a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in International Hospitality Management from University Center César Ritz, Switzerland in 2005. He also graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University, UK with MSc. degree in International Hospitality Management in 2007. Mukhles completed his (M.Phil) and (Ph.D.) degrees in Management Studies\International Hospitality Management at the University of Surrey, UK in 2011.

Mukhles worked as a lecturer in the Department of Hotel and Tourism Management at Al-Hussein Bin Talal University, in 2007 and 2008 respectively.  Then, he worked as the Head of the Department of Hotel and Tourism Management at Al-Hussein Bin Talal University from 2012-2015. He also worked as Vice Dean of Petra College for Tourism and Archeology at Al-Hussein Bin Talal University from 2015-2016.

His research interests lie in the area of Management Studies, Tourism Studies, and Hospitality Studies, with a focus on improving service quality. In recent years, he has focused on TQM, Quality Management, Service Quality, Leadership Styles, Job Satisfaction, Customer Satisfaction, Innovation, Creativity, Service Recovery, Empowerment, and Work Environment. He has collaborated actively with other researchers.

Mukhles has served on several conference and workshop program committees. He has served on the development of study plans and curriculum for Tourism and Hospitality Programs at the University. He currently serves as a member of the editorial and reviewer boards for several international journals in Management, Tourism and Hospitality. Mukhles has published several scientific researches, which are valuable and important to supplement the shortages of tourism and hospitality related research in the Middle Eastern Region.
